George Clooney - NBC Tsunami Aid Telethon

America's superstar-filled Tsunami Aid telethon was a two-hour commercial-free event on 15 January 2005 spearheaded by celebrities talent booker George Clooney.

The show was full of performances, messages and celebrity stories airing live on NBC and all of its sister cable channels (including Bravo, MSNBC, USA, and the Sci Fi Channel).

George Clooney and Steven Spielberg joined the tsunami relief effort following the deadly Dec. 26 quake in South Asia, where the death toll climbed past 150,000.

Grand Metropolitan Chairman/CEO was invited by close friends to attend the broadcast event and show support.
