Grand Metropolitan began consolidating international operations after the turn of the century in Beverly Hills, CA. The Group operated on four floors and shared facilities and executive staff with Vin Lee Jewelers Candy Shop in it's 7,000 square foot Bel Air, CA private showroom. Equipped with two underground vaults, it boasts views of Catalina Island on a clear day. The Bohle Company maintains all marketing, advertising, and public relations for Grand Metropolitan and subsidiaries. It's approximate 22,000 square feet of offices overlooking the Los Angeles Country Club in Century City, is just steps from Beverly Hills. In 2007, The Bohle Company opened up executive offices on the 7th floor of the Wachovia Building in Santa Monica, CA with sunset views of The Getty. It maintains partner offices with firms like Lee Barrett PR in over 30 cities in the United States.
After acquiring the remaining retail assets of Ceylats near Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Chairman/CEO Vin Lee began to scout Los Angeles for a new private showroom to host the inherited A list celebrity clientele and burgeoning inventory. He met with owners of multiple locations in the Polo Lounge, at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel. Meetings were also held at the private Friars Club of Beverly Hills negotiating the VIN Grand Metropolitan Gifting Salon at the Cannes Film Festival.
In between media interviews for Caesar Golf at the PGA Show Vin Lee made an offer on an $8 million 8,000 square foot Quincy Jones property on Chalon Road with 2 acres overlooking Bel Air Country Club. Negotiations were interrupted when producers from Viacom's MTV Networks made an offer to the owner of the estate for their new Rock of Love reality show featuring 80's glam rock band Poison lead singer Brett Michaels. Vin Lee Jewelers opened the first Candy Shop in Bel Air shortly after in a brand new marble showroom featuring a three story high lobby adorned by a wrought iron sweeping staircase, an elevator connecting the top offices with the showroom and underground vaults, and a private cigar room.In 2008, the Group needed to expand. Grand Metropolitan and Vin Lee Jewelers added Holmby Hills to an already impressive operation. An 11,000 square foot facility including two secure underground floors replete with biometric locking vaults were ideal for The Candy Shop II. The estate and grounds are also fashioned with a private cigar room and wine room perfect for the events and functions of The Beverly Hills Cigar Club. A 1,000 square foot cabana terrace overlooks the Olympic-sized pool and serves as an intimate open air arena for entertaining Hollywood and Beverly Hills elite. Vin Lee competed against Ed McMahon in the bidding for the property on the eve of his passing. The estate is steps away from Michael Jackson’s last residence as well as Fleur de Lys, the $125 million estate Mariah Carey recently bid on and Number 1 on Forbes Magazines 10 most expensive estates in the world.
The Group operates 16 social cigar clubs across North America and Europe. The Clubs meet at various functions, events, and private parties as well as operating e-commerce operations for both members and nonmembers. Grand Metropolitan has been in discussions with the owners and agents of the Rodeo Collection, the Flynt Building, and the Friars Club of Beverly Hills intent on giving the BHCC a new permanent home and retail boutique.
Goldwin Tobacco shares executive offices in Grand Metropolitan's Holmby Hills facility. The company’s cigars are rolled and aged in commercial humidors in Miami, FL. The tobacco comes from South America including the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Our cigar wholesaler Don Michael has office and warehouse facilities in Sarasota, FL which also includes the Maduro Club. It distributes 800 brands from around the world to over 1500 clients including the Ritz Carlton and multiple country clubs and golf courses.
Caesar Golf Company has manufacturing, wholesale, retail, warehouse, and e-commerce operations in Georgia and Asia with marketing, advertising, and public relations being conducted by The Bohle Company in their new Santa Monica operations.

Over 2800 jewelers including 128 locations in South Florida, purchase diamonds, precious gemstones, and precious metals from our various entities as both raw and finished goods. The Groups jewelry assets include The Diamond Standard, Vin Lee Jewelers, Tennis Earrings, Marriage Bands, Commitment Bands, ThaiStone London, Wisconstone, Sarasota Sterling, Wicked Woodies, Zemil Jewelers, Ceylats, Henricks Jewelers, DuQuet Jewelers, and Grand Metropolitan’s partial ownership in local and regional jewelers across North America.
Haute couture brand House of Horace slated for U.S. retail and wholesale launch in 2009 has postponed until 2010. The fashion atelier has created a stable of cosmetic, hair care, fashion, accessory, fragrance, and shoe collections. The personal care lines were developed with a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and at laboratory facilities in Miami, FL by Master Perfumer. Toy Parfum, the flagship fragrance, was introduced with the 7 scent collection during the Cannes Film Festival at the VIN Grand Metropolitan Gifting Salon. The shoe collection was sneak previewed in private session with Hollywood celebrity stylist Pegah Sasani and featured in two 16 page photospreads in international publication Prestige Magazine in January 2009 and worn by Maxim covergirl Donna Feldman. Vin Lee designed the Straphimon shoe collection at his gated island estate on the Gulf of Mexico, but the line was developed by the Los Angeles service facilities for Chanel. The line production has been contracted and outsourced to a firm in Parabiago (Milano) Italy. House of Horace will launch from the private showroom shared with Vin Lee Jewelers in Bel Air. It will be distributed through department stores and boutiques in North America in 2010.
Grand Metropolitan’s French subsidiary St. Aubin du Cormier Vin & Spirit has assembled its collection of fine liquors from 7 countries around the globe. In the United States, importing, bottling, and distributing is outsourced to partners in California, New Mexico, and Las Vegas. The Cormier family brand is GrandMetropolitan Chairman/CEO Vin Lee’s familial ancestry.
